This value French Champagne is made in the classic style with 1/3 each Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. Aged 3 years on the lees, it has just hints of yeast, toast, and brioche. It is nicely balanced with 9 g/l of sugar. Perfect as an aperitif or with a meal. The firm was founded in 1805 by Pierry Moussy. After the devastation of WWI, Victor Vollereaux, of the third generation, was the first to bottle his own Champagne. Franck Vollereaux, of the 6th generation, is now in charge and oversees 40 hectares of vineyards.
